Our H/H Booklist provides a taste of the genres that we as a collective love and are invested in publishing. In July, we introduced our Black Futures list.

Here are six titles that the H/H collective recommends to you:

Dawn by Octavia E. Butler
An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon
Mother of the Sea by Zetta Elliot
Skin Folk by Nalo Hopkinson
Manifest by Terese Mason Pierre
Lagoon by Nnedi Okorafor

Do you love reading and writing about Black Futures? Our submissions open up this Fall and we want to read your Black futurist works.

We encourage you to pick up these books from your local, Canadian Indie bookstore!

A big thank you to Don Gorman of Rocky Mountain Books for creating the map above, found via open-book.ca.
